Simple Present Tense

The Simple Present Tense is used for actions which are done every day, sometimes, always, often, etc.

Examples: 
1. I brush my teeth every morning.
2. It sometimes rains in the evening.
3. Lily always sleeps early.
4. I often help my friends.

Read the sentences above.
Which are the verbs in the sentences ?
They are 'brush' , 'rains' , 'sleeps' and 'help' .
They are used to show us what people do every day , sometimes , always and often.
They are in the Simple Present Tense.
We use the Simple Present Tense to show a regular or habitual action.
